b. May 10, 1973 Comfortably outsells Madonna, Coldplay and U2 in his home country and has over 2.5 million record sales worldwide. In 1993 he released the controversial ‘Cloudy Now’ which rebelliously featured the F-word, was banned from Israeli radio and yet topped the charts. Two years later he publicly made peace with politician Yitzhak Rabin at a political rally after singing ‘Cry for You’ and moments later Rabin was tragically assassinated. Geffen is the grandson of the late Israeli Defense Minister and Foreign Minister Moshe Dayan. He is the son of Yonathan Geffen and Shira Geffen is his sister.
