British-born American songwriter and producer from Billericay, England. When credited with Dennis Lambert, please use Dennis Lambert & Brian Potter. Started music career in early 1960s in England, relocated to the U.S. shortly afterwards, active until late 1990s. With Dennis Lambert, he co-wrote such hits as "One Tin Soldier" by Coven, "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I Got)" by the Four Tops, "Don't Pull Your Love" by Hamilton, Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds and "It Only Takes a Minute" by Tavares - and produced Player's "Baby Come Back" and Glen Campbell's No.1 album "Rhinestone Cowboy."
